Falcons vs. Seattle
The Atlanta Falcons have made the trek to Seattle to take on The Seahawks in a key matchup with playoff implications in tact for both teams. The Seahawks will be missing quite a few key players: CB Richard Sherman (IR- Torn Achilles Tendon); G Luke Joeckel (Out- Knee); S Kam Chancellor (Out- Neck); LB Michael Whilhoite (Out- Calf); DT Jarran Reid (Questionable- Hamstring); OT Duane Brown (Questionable- Ankle). But that means absolutely nothing because the Seahawks will have their infamous “12th Man” to help cheer them on. The Falcons have key injuries as well: RB Devonta Freeman (Out- Concussion); P Matt Bosher (Questionable- Ankle); LB Duke Riley (Questionable-Knee).
With a mound of injuries The Seahawks look to prove that they’re still in the hunt and a dominant force in the NFC. The Falcons on the other hand are looking to defend their title as NFC Champions and continue to pick up momentum and get closer in the race for a wild card spot. Look for WR Julio Jones to take advantage of the absence of Richard Sherman. The two have been known to battle over the years in this NFC matchup. Seahawks QB Russell Wilson has 2,543 passing yards, 19 TDS and 6 INTs on the season. Combine that with being one of the most explosive mobile Quarterbacks in the NFL… it sure makes for a long day at the office for the Atlanta Falcons defense. If Adrian Clayborn can continue his success as a sack leader… he’ll likely put tons of pressure on QB Russell Wilson. Falcons QB Matt Ryan, who is coming off of an impressive performance against The Dallas Cowboys last week looks to continue his streak and pile on those stats of being fastest QB to reach 40,000 passing yards in league history.
This could be a shoot out or a run game dominate, defensive slug fest. Either way.. The Atlanta Falcons look to capitalize on catching a battered and bruised Seahawks team at the right time! #RiseUp
